Mrs. Kristen Bell

 Hello Thomas Texans! My name is Kristen Bell.  I am so excited to be a part of your student's education. It is always wonderful to see how students grow academically and socially as the school year progresses.

I am honored to say this will be my 13th year as a special education teacher at Thomas Elementary. I had the absolute privilege to be named Thomas Elementary's "Teacher of the Year" for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Before my teaching career, I was a student in the Plano school district from kindergarten to high school. Go Plano Wildcats! I attended college at the University of North Texas in Denton, where I received my degree in interdisciplinary studies and special education. 

In my free time I love to watch movies, build LEGO sets, attend concerts, read, and spend time with my husband and our three cats! 

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
