I moved from California to Texas 10 years ago and jumped back into my career in education after 13 years of staying home with my children. Previously I had 8 years experience working in educational leadership programs and non-profit organizations. While in Texas, I jumped back into leadership/educational development programs, particularly launching the Spanish Immersion program for Legacy Christian Academy. While diving into program development, I also began a new journey in teaching. I am currently working towards focusing on teaching and have enjoyed learning more as I grow in this career. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my three sons, Sam (21), Michael (20), and Jonathan (18) and my fur babies Nacho and Mr. Lu. I love to cook for the people I love and when it's raining, you will find me baking cookies for a cozy night at home. I enjoy going to the movies and finding treasures at Marshall's.
