Title I Math Coach

 

Hello! My name is Daniela Kerpens, and I serve as the Title I Math Coach and AVID Coordinator here at Thomas Elementary. I was born in the Dominican Republic, raised in New York City, and moved to Dallas, Texas in 2002. My journey in education began in 2003. I have taught a variety of grade levels throughout my career—Pre-K, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades—all in bilingual education. Since joining the Thomas family in 2013, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work alongside passionate educators and dedicated students. I look forward to another amazing year here at Thomas, where we continue to inspire and empower our students!

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Daniela Kerpens y soy la entrenadora de matemáticas del Título I y coordinadora de AVID aquí en la escuela primaria Thomas. Nací en la República Dominicana, crecí en la ciudad de Nueva York y me mudé a Dallas, Texas, en 2002. Mi trayectoria en la educación comenzó en 2003. A lo largo de mi carrera, he enseñado en diversos niveles educativos (preescolar, 2.º, 4.º y 5.º grado), todos ellos en educación bilingüe. Desde que me uní a la familia Thomas en 2013, he tenido la increíble oportunidad de trabajar junto a educadores apasionados y estudiantes dedicados. Espero con entusiasmo otro año maravilloso aquí en Thomas, donde seguimos inspirando y empoderando a nuestros estudiantes.
