Mrs. Alicia Marroquin Garza
Hello! My name is Alicia Marroquin. I was born and raised in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon. In 2011, I became a Certified Bilingual Teacher and moved to Texas to begin my teaching career as a Bilingual Third-Grade teacher in Fort Worth ISD. I've taught Kindergarten, First Grade and this is my second year teaching Pre-K at Thomas Elementary. I am so proud to be part of PISD serving this beautiful community.
I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. I have three adult children, all of them graduated from Plano West Senior High School. We have a beautiful Australian Shepard, Tucker, who loves spending time with the family as well.
I truly believe education is the key that helps us to achieve our goals in life. I'm so happy to contribute to building the very first steps in the life of our scholars.
I look forward to another wonderful school year here at Thomas!
